A small food cost and GP calculator you can put on any page: a catering college course page, a supplier blog, a food-truck resource list or your own site. Paste one snippet. It is free, there is no sign-up, and it sets no cookies.

To start the target GP at something other than 70%, add ?target=65 (any value from 30 to 90) to the iframe address.
What it does
- Adds up ingredient costs for one portion.
- Works out food cost % and gross profit % from the menu price, taking the 20% VAT out first if the price includes it.
- Shows the price you need to hit a target GP, with and without VAT.
It uses the same arithmetic as the full food cost calculator and the UK GP benchmarks. For whole recipes with pack prices and batch scaling, use the free recipe tool.
The small print
- Free to use on any site, commercial or not.
- Please keep the "Powered by PrepSheet" line inside the widget and the credit link under it.
- No cookies, no tracking scripts and no adverts inside the frame. Nothing typed into it leaves the visitor's browser.
